Changelog
What shipped, and when. Only changes you can see in the product are listed here.
2026
- You can find newly saved notes and keep your writing unchanged while connecting its ideas.
Imported notes join your knowledge library, sync limits explain what stays on this device, and Free accounts can connect other apps to read notes.
- Organize sets aside fewer credits, and background work keeps credits for your requests.
Each Organize run now sets aside enough for one analysis request instead of two. Background work stops before your last 20 credits.
- Note history now saves checkpoints as you work, and restoring a version keeps the text it replaces.
Signed-in saves now create checkpoints automatically, and Save version keeps an exact one. Restoring a version saves the current text first.
- You can preview and apply coordinated changes across a note or your whole workspace with Organize.
Pick the current note or the whole workspace. Organize proposes grouped changes with their sources, and you apply the groups you want and can undo each one.
- You can connect Claude and ChatGPT by approving them on a screen, with no key.
Point a client at the MCP endpoint and it asks for access. You approve it in Apioni, choose read-only or read and write, and disconnect it later from Settings.
- You can install Apioni on macOS, Windows and Linux to edit a local folder of Markdown files.
The desktop app is a local Markdown editor. Notes stay on your computer; account sync, AI, Chat and semantic search remain in the browser.
- You can connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and your own scripts to your notes with an API key.
Create a key in Settings and point a tool at the MCP endpoint or the REST API. It can search, read, create and update your notes until you revoke the key.
- You can export every note as an Obsidian vault, with your folders, links and attachments.
One zip that Obsidian opens as a vault: your folder tree, notes with front matter, wiki links between them and the attached files.
- Apioni now lives at apioni.com, and links to the old address redirect there.
The product moved to its own domain. Every link to the previous address now redirects.
- Your notes now build a knowledge layer you can browse as objects, a graph and a timeline.
Notes are broken into atoms, and the people, projects and concepts inside them become objects you can open in three new views.
- The editor has a slash menu, a selection toolbar and drag handles for moving blocks.
Three ways to shape a note without leaving the keyboard or hunting through menus.
- Export and import work again, and your first keystrokes in a new note are no longer lost.
Two bugs that cost you work. Both are fixed, and both now have tests standing behind them.
- Writing happens in blocks, so you can move a paragraph without losing its formatting.
The editor treats each paragraph, heading and list as its own block. Moving one keeps everything about it intact.
- A calendar shows your notes by date, in month, week, day and agenda layouts.
Your notes already carry dates. The calendar reads them, so you can find a note by when it happened.
