Refund Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

Apioni is a subscription, and whether a notes app fits the way you think is something you can only find out by writing in it for a while. So the refund is deliberately simple: if it is not for you, ask and we send the money back.

The policy

You can request a full refund within 14 days of a payment, for any reason. You do not need to explain what went wrong, and using Apioni during those 14 days does not disqualify you — using it is the only way to know.

This sits on top of the free plan, which never expires and needs no card. Between the two, you can try the product before paying and still change your mind after.

How to request one

Email contact@apioni.com from the address you bought with, or reply to your Paddle receipt. Include the order reference from the receipt if you have it — it makes this faster, but we can find your order without it. We reply within two business days.

Refunds are issued by Paddle, our merchant of record and the seller on your receipt, back to the original payment method. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank — typically 5–10 business days.

Cancelling without a refund

If you just want to stop the next charge, you do not need to email anyone. Open Settings → Plan in the app and use Cancel subscription. Cancelling stops the renewal and the period you already paid for keeps running to its end.

What happens to your notes

Nothing. A refund ends the paid plan and moves your account to the free plan — it never deletes a note and never locks you out of what you wrote. You keep reading, editing and exporting everything as plain Markdown. If you are over the free plan’s note limit, existing notes stay readable and exportable; you are only limited in creating new ones.

Paid plans: Plus $9/month or $90/year, Pro $29/month or $288/year. See Pricing for what each one includes.

After 14 days

Write to us anyway. If Apioni is broken in a way we cannot fix for you, we would rather refund it than keep the money. Annual plans that go wrong early in the term are the usual case, and we handle those case by case rather than by rule.

Your statutory rights

This policy sits on top of the rights you already have. If the law where you live gives you a longer or stronger right of withdrawal — for example statutory withdrawal periods in South Korea or the EU — that right applies and this policy does not reduce it. Nothing here waives it.
