Keep the draft, get the clean version

You want the messy first pass and a readable second one. Most tools make you choose: edit in place and lose the draft, or keep two files and let them drift apart.

1. 1Write the draft the way it comes out.
2. 2Ask for a cleanup at the level you want — the draft is stored as its own version.
3. 3Read the change as a diff and keep it, or put the note back exactly as it was.
4. 4A full restructure never lands on its own; it waits in the review queue.
