Changelog / Sep 6, 2026
addedSep 6, 2026That week

You can install Apioni on macOS, Windows and Linux and keep a folder of Markdown files in sync.

The desktop app keeps every note as a Markdown file in a folder you choose, syncs it with your account, and updates itself.

What you get

  • Pick a folder. Every note becomes a plain .md file there, and edits move both ways with your account.
  • Edit while offline. When you reconnect, your changes go up; if the server has a newer version of the same note, the app keeps yours beside it as a conflicted copy instead of overwriting it.
  • Export to Word and PDF without leaving the app — the converters ship inside it, so nothing is uploaded to convert.
  • The app updates itself. Each update is signed, and it checks that signature before installing.

Before you install

The macOS builds are signed and notarized by Apple, so they open without a warning. On Windows you will see a "Windows protected your PC" screen the first time, because we do not buy a publisher certificate yet — choose More info, then Run anyway. Checksums for every file are published next to the downloads if you want to verify what you got.

NewerYou can connect Claude and ChatGPT by approving them on a screen, with no key.OlderYou can connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and your own scripts to your notes with an API key.
